As I know about TOEFL is the Test Of English as a Foreign Language ( Test of English as a foreign language ), which is organized by an institute in the United States called ETS (Educational Testing Service).

DEVELOPMENT TOEFL

TOEFL it self has several times experienced improvement by the provider agency ETS. TOEFL test forms ever introduced to the public, namely :

·          TOEFL Paper Based Test

Consists of 3 sections : Listening, Structure, and Reading.

Maximum Score : 677

 

·          TOEFL Computer Based Test

Consisting of 4 Section : Listening, Structure, Reading, Writing.

Maximum Score : 300

·          TOEFL Internet Based Tes

Consists of 4 sections : Listening , Reading , Writing , Speaking.

Maximum Score : 120

Although officially, since the TOEFL Internet Based Test is introduced in the whole world, then type not apply anymore, but in fact until recently, the TOEFL Paper Based Test is still used widely in a variety of higher education institutions as well as for the recruitment of employees in Indonesia, or in the country not speak English.

Another type of test is TSEP TOEFL (Test of Spoken English Program) which is similar to the individual parts of the interview on the IELTS test. They are usually used when we want to register as a teaching assistant or lab assistant (as one way to offset the cost of tuition) in universias in the U.S. (or other countries). Form of tests conducted orally and lasts for approximately 20 minutes. Implementation time and the deadline for registration is the same as the other TOEFL test, and costs about U.S. $ 100.

My achievements

My name is Anita Silvi yanti , this time I was 20 years old and I 'll tell you about my achievements. when I was 11 years of age, I joined the race a musical instrument called "angklung" one of Indonesian traditional musical instrument from West Java with friends at school, we got the first prize when it is attended by 50 participants from various regions .

Before we perform the preparation is done very much, one of which is training together every day after school, memorizing scales every song we play , also do not forget the blessing of teachers, and parents . Jakarta 10 October 2004 have been waiting for the day that we arrived, precisely at 07.00 am we already went to the location of the event,
during the trip feeling nervous always come up, but coach always give spirit to our.

It's time we start to play, one by one we headed for stage performances there are 4 judges sit in front of the stage and watched our group plays the traditional instrument.
we bring you three folk songs from West Java , Central Java , and Jakarta. performances of our group finished and not some old announcement of the winner , very excited to hear the results of our hard work. did not disappoint, we became the first winner in the race the traditional musical instrument " angklung " .
